Socialize! Socialize! Socialize!
The ‘Critical Socialization Period’ is the time of the pup’s life from birth to 12 weeks of age. It is essentially the period when your dog’s ideally have nothing but positive experiences with as many different stimuli as possible of the world. This can be anything from different animals, bodies of water (river, sea, lake), viewing and interacting with different races of people, different sounds in the environment for example.
I’m in the thick of doing this with our second pup Lily now…
