Dog training, how do I feed our dog for enrichment…
How does this Dog Behavioural Consultant feed her dog? It’s all about enrichment! Well we have a nearly 6 month old pup so… I measure out the days biscuit portion (we feed a mixture of raw meat and biscuits). I undertake what I term ‘Status Feeding’* then - For Brekkie - Feed from a bowl - with a hungry pup. Still ‘earliesh’ - Trev enjoys tearing out treats from his ‘Holey Ball’ while our kids get ready for school (or this is also the time he plays with easy pre-prepared homemade ‘dog toys’). Then biscuits in either the Kong Wobbler or his feed ball for lunch and frozen meat in his Kong Classic. For dinner, I feed raw meat and also scatter feed his biscuits. *My wonderful clients you know what I’m talking about…
